Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his interest in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to discuss a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is at the moment two years through the four-year deal he signed when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.
The veteran forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the maiden significant honor of his notable career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England captain has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he previously was, and would seriously contemplate lengthening his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could certainly see that," he commented.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had escaped him until he won the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy drought, but now believes it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
